This is not a movie or game character. It is Nanmu Studio’s own stylized interpretation of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, presented as part of its Smart Series articulated dinosaur collection.
Character / Concept
The Once and Future King refers to the Tyrannosaurus Rex, one of the most iconic apex predators of the Late Cretaceous period.
Nanmu’s concept gives the T-Rex a more regal and imposing identity—the “King” of its prehistoric ecosystem. The figure is designed to convey the power, aggression and dominance associated with T. rex rather than represent a specific named dinosaur from a film franchise.
T. rex lived approximately 68–66 million years ago and was one of the largest known terrestrial carnivorous dinosaurs. Its powerful jaws, massive skull, strong hind legs and comparatively small forelimbs are among its defining anatomical characteristics.
